GoodSync to the Rescue

I keep a lot of my important files (including ones for Cub Scouting) on USB flash drives so I can use them at different computers.

But this week I could not find my flash drive case.  I looked everywhere for several days, but to no avail.

Thankfully, I recently started using GoodSync, a file synchronization program, to make automatic backups of the files on my flash drives. Using GoodSync, I was able to retrieve a copy of my files and load them onto a new flash drive (which I’m keeping on my keyring).

GoodSync has a free trial version. The full version is $29.95.

There is a free service available called Dropbox. They allow you to store 2gb, accessible from any computer. Not a ton of space, but the price is good!

Thanks for the rec:-) FYI GoodSync can also be run entirely on the flash drive. It’s called GoodSync2Go and the Pro version is $39.95: http://www.goodsync.com/goodsync2go.html
